Navigation
Navigation commands allow moving your cursor or selected cell to whip around your workbook with ease.
Move (mac: Ctrl + arrow, windows: Ctrl + arrow)
Windows: Arrow Keys, Tab, ⇧ + Tab
Mac: Arrow Keys, Tab, ⇧ + Tab
Description: Allows navigation through cells and menus.
Move Down / Edit
Windows: Enter
Mac: Enter
Description: If not editing, opens edit. If editing, submits the cell and moves the selection down one cell. ⇧ + Enter will move up one row. You can also press enter to select an option in a menu.
Move to Start of Row
Windows: CTRL + Left Arrow, Home
Mac: ⌘ + Left Arrow, Home
Description: Selects the first cell in a row.
Move to End of Row
Windows: CTRL + Right Arrow, End
Mac: ⌘ + Right Arrow, End
Description: Selects the last cell in a row.
Move to Beginning of Sheet
Windows: CTRL + Home
Mac: ⌥ + Home
Description: Selects the first cell in the sheet (first row, first column)
Move to End of Sheet
Windows: CTRL + End

Description: Selects the last cell in the sheet (last row, last column)
Grid
Grid shortcuts speed up selecting and modifying portions of your workbook.
Move and Select
Windows: ⇧ + Arrow Keys
Mac: ⇧ + Arrow Keys
Description: Selects the current cell and expands the selection as you move.
Move to Start and Select
Windows: ⇧ + Home, ⇧ + Ctrl + Left
Mac: ⇧ + Home, ⇧ + Ctrl + Left
Description: Selects the current cell and all cells to the left of it, moves cursor to the start of the row.
Move to End and Select
Windows: ⇧ + End, ⇧ + Ctrl + Right arrow
Mac: ⇧ + End, ⇧ + Ctrl + Right arrow
Description: Selects the current cell and all cells to the right of it, moves cursor to the end of the row.
Select Row
Windows: ⇧ + Space
Mac: ⇧ + Space
Description: Selects the entire row for any columns that are currently selected.
Select Column
Windows: CTRL + Space
Mac: ^ + Space
Description: Selects the entire column for any rows that are currently selected.
Select All
Windows: CTRL + A
Mac: ⌘ + A
Description: Selects all cells in the table.
Cut
Windows: CTRL + X
Mac: ⌘ + X
Description: Adds the currently selected items to the clipboard and removes them from the sheet.
Copy
Windows: CTRL + C
Mac: ⌘ + C
Description: Adds the currently selected items to the clipboard.
Paste
Windows: CTRL + V
Mac: ⌘ + V
Description: Adds the contents of the clipboard to the sheet.
Notes: Visor is smart about pasting. You can paste text fields into dropdowns, dates into text fields, text into multi-selects, and more. If Visor is unable to paste a field properly, it will show a red indicator instead of ruining your data.
Fill Right
Windows: CTRL + R
Mac: ⌘ + R
Description: Selects the last cell in the sheet (last row, last column)
Notes: The same rules around types of fields for pastes apply to fills.
Fill Down
Windows: CTRL + D
Mac: ⌘ + D
Description: Selects the last cell in the sheet (last row, last column).
Notes: The same rules around types of fields for pastes apply to fills.
Fill Range
Windows: CTRL + Enter
Mac: ⌘ + Enter
Description: Selects the last cell in the sheet (last row, last column).
Notes: The same rules around types of fields for pastes apply to fills.
Delete Cell Value
Windows: Delete, Backspace
Mac: Delete, Backspace
Description: Removes the value from the currently selected cell(s).
Cancel Editing
Windows: Escape
Mac: Escape
Description: Cancels editing or removes a selection if you have cells highlighted. Can also be used to close out of an open menu.
Insert Nested Record
Windows: Alt + ⇧ + D
Mac: ⌥ + ⇧ + D
Description: Adds a new record as a child of the currently selected record.
Insert Below Record
Windows: Alt + ⇧ + S
Mac: ⌥ + ⇧ + S
Description: Adds a new record below the current record.
Insert Above Record
Windows: Alt + ⇧ + W
Mac: ⌥ + ⇧ + W
Description: Adds a new record above the currently selected record.
Expand Grouped Rows / Columns
Windows: Alt + ⇧ + Down
Mac: ⌥ + ⇧ + Down
Description: If you have a record with children selected, this shortcut will expand its children.
Expand Grouped Rows / Columns By Level
Windows: Alt + ⇧ + [ Number ]
Mac: ⌥ + ⇧ + [ Number ]
Description: If you have a record with children selected, this shortcut will expand its children to the level indicated by the number that you press (e.g. Alt + Shift + 1 will expand one nested level, Alt + Shift + 2 will expand two levels, etc.).
Collapse Grouped Rows / Columns
Windows: Alt + ⇧ + Up
Mac: ⌥ + ⇧ + Up
Description: If you are in a row with nested children expanded, this shortcut will collapse its children. If you are in a nested record with no children, this shortcut will collapse the parent and move your selection to the parent.
Commenting
Comments allow you to be more collaborative with your team members. You can leave someone a note for later, or even just jot down some thoughts so you don't forget.
Insert / Edit Comment
Windows: Ctrl + Alt + ⇧ + A
Mac: ⌘ + ⌥ + ⇧ + A
Description: Opens the new comment dialog so you can add a comment to a cell or record.
Open Comment
Windows: Ctrl + Alt + M
Mac: ⌘ + ⌥ + M
Description: If the currently selected cell or record has comments, this will open the comment thread.
