FAQs
Can I use Visor for free?
Of course! Visor is happy to offer a Free plan. This gives you access to some basic Visor features and lets you experience just how productive your team can be. You can upgrade at any time if you run out of sync credits or want to allow more team members to edit your workbooks.
What is a sync credit?
See more about sync credits here. Please note that the amount of sync credits listed per plan is applied to the Workspace level, not the user level. For example, a Visor Pro Workspace with 10 users and a Visor Pro workspace with 500 users would both receive a total of 250,000 sync credits to split between the given amount of users. Sync credit booster plans listed above are helpful in accommodating more syncing users.
What happens when I run out of sync credits or exceed my plan limits?
When you approach your sync credit usage limit, the product will provide warnings to help you avoid running out. When you’ve exceeded your plan limits, it will not be possible to run any additional operations that require sync credits. Any in-progress operations when the sync credit limit is reached will proceed fully, even if doing so causes an overage. Overages of this nature will not incur additional costs. You can purchase additional sync credits according to the rate schedule above.
How does Visor's pricing work?
The Free plan supports a limited but powerful set of features and is available for free for any number of collaborators. The plan is limited in the number of fields, workbooks, connections, and sync credits that you are allowed to use. If you want to access premium features, you can upgrade your Workspace to a paid plan. Once upgraded, you'll be able to create more workbooks with more fields, make more connections, and perform more syncs. Note that the billing is based on the number of Editors you want to be able to make changes to your workbooks. All of our plans support unlimited viewers, so you can share your workbook with as many team members as you want.
Can I buy sync credit packs on the Free plan?
No, sync credit packs are reserved for paid users.
Do I have to pay for all the users in my Jira/Salesforce/HubSpot account?
In short, no! You only have to pay for the users you would like to be able to take any action outside of viewing in a Visor workbook. Editors can pull new records, make changes to connected fields, and sync changes back to your connected apps. All Visor plans (even the Free plan) have unlimited viewers.
Can I purchase just one license?
At this time, the smallest paid plan we offer includes (2) seats. This is for a couple of reasons:
1. Visor is made for collaboration. Having two available licenses ensures that you're set up for success out of the gate to share your work with others. We made this decision after careful research and consideration.
2. Visor is technologically advanced, meaning to offer you the cutting-edge technology we deliver at low prices, we need to take a few things into account on our end, such as server space, load times, etc. This equates to a two-license minimum per organization.
Can I belong to multiple workspaces in Visor?
You can belong to any number of Workspaces in Visor. You can have a personal workspace on our Free plan, a team workspace on a paid plan, and other workspaces on different plans. Please note that any subscription you purchase can only be applied to ONE workspace. Licenses cannot be split between workspaces.
Does Visor offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA)?
We do not offer a standard SLA. For teams with greater than 20 members, we can offer a custom SLA. Contact our customer success team to learn more.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major forms of payment including credit cards. We use Stripe to process our payments so we do not handle your payment information directly.
How secure is Visor?
Visor is incredibly secure. All of your data is stored encrypted on AWS. You can read more about our security practices on our Trust & Security page. We are also just certified by the Atlassian Security Self-Assessment program.
Will I be charged sales tax?
In order to stay compliant with local regulations, Visor will charge sales tax based on the region your company is located in. Sales tax is calculated automatically by Stripe.
Is there an on-premises version of Visor?
We are passionate about the web and do not plan to offer an internally hosted version of Visor.
Does Visor offer a discount for nonprofits?
Visor is happy to offer eligible nonprofits a discount on our plans. Reach out to our Customer Success team to learn about how we can help.
Does Visor offer a student discount?
No, we do not.
How do I cancel my Visor subscription or trial?
In order to cancel your subscription, reach out to our Customer Success team. You will not be charged again after you submit the form indicating your desire to downgrade.
What is your refund policy?
If you've made a mistake signing up for a Visor subscription and have already paid, we will offer a refund if you let us know within 72 hours of your sign up for a monthly plan or 30 days after you sign up for annual billing. Refunds of amounts above $24 will be returned net of our non-refundable credit card processing fees. Customers may only request a refund through this program once. Individuals establishing multiple accounts with different email addresses will still be considered one customer for the context of this policy. The Visor team reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of suspected fraud or abuse. You can expect to see the refund on your credit card statement in 7-10 business days. Contact our Customer Success team to discuss refunds.

Roles
We currently support owner, editor, commenter, and viewer roles, depending on which plan you are on. Owners, editors, and commenter roles require paid licenses. We consider someone to need an editor license if they create their own workbooks, make changes to data in workbooks, or otherwise have access above the "viewer" level. A commenter is a user who is able to comment on existing workbooks. To see what each permissions level provides access to, see our Sharing & Permissions page.
Views per Workbook
Visor supports creating multiple views on the same set of data. Creating multiple Views allows you to set up different filters on each of them. The plan limits are applied on the number of Views you have in the same workbook. See views for more information.
Number of Connections vs Number of Integrations
Your plan includes a certain number of integrations per workspace, which counts the number of apps you can connect at once.
Additionally, your plan includes several connections you can establish via those integrations per workbook. For example, if you connected Jira Issues and Salesforce Contacts in the same workbook, that would count as two connections. You can have multiple connections in the same workbook, in some cases even multiple Connections to the same app.
Conditional Formatting
Currently, Visor supports a standardized set of colors to be used for formatting:
You can also click "Text" and "Background" to access the custom color picker and set any colors you want! Formatting is available on all plans.
Advanced Field Protection (Protected Fields)
We know you may have several team members or stakeholders that want access to your planning information, but you may not want to give all of them the ability to make changes to your visualizations. That's why we added the ability to lock certain fields for certain access levels or users. Free users can protect limited fields per View Folder, paid users can protect unlimited fields. Talk about maximum protection!
Printing / Exporting
You can export your views into a PDF, PNG, or CSV file so you can share them with the world. This allows transferring into Excel, demo-ing in a Powerpoint, or sharing via other platforms. Click File → Export to try it out!
Real-time Collaboration
All Visor plans make use of our revolutionary real-time systems. These systems propagate any changes to a workbook to any user connected to that workbook. You can try this out by having the same workbook open in two tabs and making changes; you'll see them reflected instantly!
Scheduled Syncing
Scheduled importing / syncing is on our roadmap and we’ll be tackling it soon! Check out our Roadmap for more details, or submit feedback to our team directly using the in-app Feedback button or our chat!
Share specific views
We are working on allowing the ability to share specific views with specific users. This will allow you to pick which Views are made available to specific collaborators, which is great if you want certain stakeholders to only see certain information. Check out our roadmap to see how this feature is being prioritized.
Audit Trails
Audit trails and version history have been highly requested and are prioritized highly on our product roadmap.

If you have a Visor paid plan but need more syncing, you can subscribe to additional Sync Credit Booster packs. They come in 3 different sizes, offering greater discounts for larger packs.
